Siya began his career as a Financial Advisor at Old Mutual in 2013, where he provided financial advice to new and existing clients. During 2014 he joined Nedbank Financial Planning, where he was responsible for providing financial planning services and solutions to clients, using the products of internal and external providers. In 2018 he joined INfund Solutions, as a Retirement Benefit Counsellor, for the Telkom Retirement Fund, with the primary focus to counsel members, to ensure that they are informed about the benefits of default regulations and the options available to them. On 1 November 2020 Siya was appointed as Managing Director of INfund Solutions.
Paul von Stein
On 1 September 2017, Paul joined INfund Solutions as CEO. Paul has been in the financial services industry for the past thirty-nine years. Cutting his teeth with Old Mutual’s retail assets, he moved across to the institutional environment in 1990 where he was recruited by Momentum Asset Management (now known as RMB Asset Management). In 1998, he joined Gensec on their purchase of Sanlam Asset Management until August 2017.
With the appointment of Siyabonga Maki, as Managing Director of INfund Solutions, on 1 November 2020, Paul stepped down as CEO, and will continue to make a valuable contribution to the business in his role as Director.
With more than twenty-five years’ experience in the financial industry, Nico began his career with Sanlam in 1994. In 1996, he joined Momentum and in 1998, he founded Fin Q which is now known as GRAVITON – a multibillion Rand advisory company. Nico was one of the founding members of Verso Investment Services (which later became Efficient Wealth in 2013). As Chairman, he looked after corporate clients, navigating business into a company which oversaw more than R8 billion in assets and over 6 000 clients.
Fred has 25 years’ experience in the broader financial services industry and has consulted on all levels in this field. He has a broad knowledge of the industry, its challenges and solutions, on a group and member level. He has advised and consulted to many of the largest listed enterprises, in the retail sector and in the media.
Ainsley is responsible for Corporate and Stakeholder Relations at African Rainbow Capital (ARC) and serves on the boards of several of ARC’s portfolio companies. Outside of ARC he serves on the Stellenbosch University council as vice-chair and on several council committees. He also serves on the board of Casidra, where he is vice-chair of the board and serves on several board committees. He previously spent 6 years with Sanlam and 11 years with Media24, a Naspers subsidiary.
Monrico joined INfund Solutions during 2019 as a Relationship Manager. His primary focus is to build and preserve trusted relationships with clients, to understand their needs, to develop plans to address them, and to direct them to accredited financial advisors. Prior to joining INfund Solutions Monrico was employed at the Drakenstein Municipality from 2006 until 2019, where he assisted more than 2000 employees with enrolment into local government benefit programs, such as health insurance and retirement savings.
Simphiwe joined INfund Solutions during 2019 as a Retirement Benefit Counsellor. His passion is to enable members to make informed financial decisions, by ensuring that they understand the default regulations and solutions offered by the fund.
Prior to joining INfund solutions Simphiwe was a Financial Well-Being Consultant at Alexander Forbes, where one of his key focus areas was to ensure that the investment portfolios of clients, were consistent with FPC’s investment.
With more than 10 years’ experience in the financial services industry Robert joined INfund Solutions at the end of 2019, as a Retirement Benefit Counsellor.
Robert started his career in 2009 as a Client Services Consultant at Allan Gray. He then joined Sygnia Asset Management where he was trained as a Quantitative Analyst, getting exposure into portfolio analysis and investment performance research.
During 2012, he moved to short-term insurance, where he became a Portfolio Consultant for Mutual & Federal, now Old Mutual Insure.
